OK. . . WHO ARE
WE? WHO AM I?
I think it's important
that you know a little
about the Company, The
Solutions Network and
it's founder, (me, Bruce
Castro). Don't
worry, it's not a
commercial- -
Just the facts of how
ASN came into existence.
I'll try to be quick.
In my life I've had
many jobs and
operated numerous
businesses in my attempt
to find that happy
balance between time and
money. I used
to work all day selling
and investing in real
estate while
"working" 5
nights a week as a
professional musician.
Between those two
vocations I earned what
many would have
considered a good
income.. but I wasn't
happy. I had an
epiphany when I found
that all the money
in the world was
useless if you
didn't find the time
to enjoy it.
So, I got "smart"
and made a semi career
alteration to give me
more time.
I reduced the time
spent on real estate
sales, played my music a
bit less and turned a
lifelong fascination
with herpetology (the
study and breeding of
reptiles), into a
business. So now, I
absolutely loved
everything I did.
Had plenty of time to
enjoy life.
But I still had a
problem.
I had all the time in
the world, but, at time,
I could barely afford a
hamburger!
I HAD MY SECOND EPIPHANY
I then realized that all
the TIME in the
world is useless if you
don't have enough
MONEY to enjoy it...
And all the Money
in the world is useless
if you don't have enough
TIME to enjoy it.
I realized
that a successful and
happy life is
ALL ABOUT BALANCE!
I then decided that
I'
d find something that
would pay me handsomely
on an hourly basis.
That way I could reduce
the hours I actually had
to work while still
maintaining a reasonable
income. Seemed to
make sense.
I figured "Hey, I'm a
relatively bright guy,
I'll become an
attorney".
So I went to Law School.
A NEW CAREER?
I was lucky enough to be
close to the top of my
class and was therefore
given the honor of
clerking for the dean of
the Law School. Wow!
What an eye opener.
This gave me the
opportunity to see the
true practice of law, up
close and personal.
Instead of finding the
practice of law as a
vehicle to promote the
cause of good and solve
issues for the benefit
of the client;
I
found that the most
certain way to guarantee
success in a law
practice was not to
solve issues, but
rather to create more of
them!
Think about it, as soon
as an attorney solves
all of his client's
legal issues--- he's
effectively unemployed.
It was far more
profitable to prolong
litigation by creating
billable hours than it
was to solve problems.
Don't get me wrong.
There are some wonderful
attorney's out there. As
a matter of fact, to
this day, some of my
best friends are
attorneys.
In fact, one had been my
torts professor and I
was his Guitar teacher!
But I digress!...
I just could not operate
that way. The
undercurrent of the
adversarial aspect of
our legal system often
turned my stomach.
I've always been about
finding solutions... I
didn't want to make a
career out of causing
problems.
I MARRIED THE INTERNET
Now of course, while all
of this is going on, the
Internet was coming into
it's own and making it
possible to do things
that were undreamed of
just a couple of years
before. I started
thinking, "there
must be some way to
marry my real estate
background with this new
legal education and the

possibilities of the

way that I could
concentrate on
solving problems--

while at the same
